CDC: H1N1 Has Sickened 22 Million in 6 Months

November 12th, 2009 admin No comments

FoxNews.com

WASHINGTON —  Government health officials say swine flu has sickened about 22 million Americans since April.

They say about 4,000 have died, including 540 children.

The startling new figures — about four times higher than previous death estimates — don’t mean swine flu has suddenly gotten worse. Instead, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday called them a long-awaited better attempt to understand the virus’ true toll.

The CDC now believes that about 98,000 people have been hospitalized in the first six months of the nation’s swine flu epidemic, including 36,000 children.

UKRAINE: Vaccine Ban Blamed For Sweeping Epidemic

Elections may be postponed while martial law continues. Health minister says one in two will get flu because vaccination was halted earlier this year due to deaths

The severity of the mystery epidemic in Ukraine has been blamed on a ban on flu vaccines that was imposed in September after a series of deaths, mostly of children, who had received the shot at government health clinics.

The charge has been made by Oleksy Hromazyn, spokesman for Ukraine’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, who said that the effective absence of flu vaccinations in Ukraine since September has helped widen and deepen the impact of the present flu outbreak, according to a report from the German agency dpa.

Hromazyn commented that every second Ukrainian will catch the flu this season because of the recent moratorium on vaccines.

The charge will strengthen calls from President Victor Yushchenko for the Ukrainian population to immediately get inoculated with the new vaccines despite their severe reservations over the safety of the flu shots.

Hromazyn is member of the National Security and Defense Council, the body that has been elevated to the supreme authority in Ukraine by Yushchenko in the wake of an epidemic that is still shrouded in mystery.

Despite the fact that the outbreak is now showing signs of slowing, Ukraine remains under virtual martial law after Yushchenko announced that anyone to comply with NSDC orders will be arrested.

A ban on public gatherings and a restriction of movement remains in place.

CFR Recording Suggests Creating False Scarcity To Drive Up Demand For H1N1 Vaccine

Laughter as dignitaries discuss making vaccine mandatory, tricking public into taking it

A recording of a recent Council On Foreign Relations symposium reveals attendees discussing ways and means of getting the public to take the H1N1 flu vaccine in spite of the mass resistance that has arisen due to questions over it’s safety.

The recording dates from October 16 when the CFR held a Symposium in New York entitled Pandemic Influenza: Science, Economics, and Foreign Policy.

The meeting was held in order to encourage a consensus for policy to present to the federal government concerning the so called swine flu pandemic.

In attendance were professors and doctors from several influential universities and medical schools, along with media representatives from Science Magazine, The Canadian Press and The Financial Times.

Other notable attendees included Robert E. Rubin, Former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and current Co-Chair of the CFR, along with John Lange, Senior Program Officer of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Program.

During part of the discussion (see transcript) on whether or not the vaccine should be made mandatory for health workers and school children, Lone Simonsen, Research Professor and Research Director at the Department of Global Health, George Washington University, suggests creating an artificial scarcity in order to ramp up demand for the vaccine.

“I think what would work better would be to say that there was a shortage and people tend to buy more of something that’s in demand. (Laughter.) We saw that — there was one season where, really, people lined up all night to get a flu shot.” Simonsen says, much to the amusement of the other attendees at the symposium.

The entire recording is on the CFR website here, but an edited version appears in the following short video:

Government Appoints Task Force To Handle H1N1 Vaccine Propaganda

The U.S. government has appointed what the media is ludicrously billing as an “independent” group of health advisors whose job it will be to whitewash adverse reactions to the swine flu vaccine and “explain” them to the public as mere coincidence.

Authorities have been busier honing their propaganda about the H1N1 inoculation program than they have dealing with the actual rollout of the vaccine. A $16 million dollar campaign to coerce Americans into taking the shot is falling flat on its face with increasing numbers rejecting the necessity to take the shot amidst concerns about its side-effects.

Health authorities have been desperately pushing the notion that the vaccine is safe as part of a gargantuan PR campaign, without explaining why well-connected members of the elite have had special access to an additive-free version of the shot that doesn’t contain ingredients like mercury and squalene that are contained in the public version.

As a result of the dangers of the H1N1 vaccine becoming widely known, authorities are moving to get out ahead of the story by acknowledging that millions of health problems in the aftermath of a vaccination campaign will be blamed on the vaccine, citing the 1976 swine flu debacle when the shot proved far deadlier than the actual virus.

Back In September, Reuters reported on how public health officials were expecting “an avalanche of so-called adverse event reports, which are reports of death, illness or other health trauma,” in the two weeks after people receive the vaccine.

“We are going to be overwhelmed with potential events,” said Mike Osterholm, a public health expert at the University of Minnesota.

Authorities therefore resolved to dismiss any connection to the swine flu shots a host of heart attacks, strokes and miscarriages that “will be blamed on the H1N1 vaccine”.

Now the government has accelerated these efforts by appointing a group of “independent” experts to “track the vaccine’s safety,” according to an Associated Press report.

Obama Administration’s Flu Fearmongering

October 31st, 2009 admin No comments

Michael Fumento

“In keeping with the administration’s proactive approach” to swine flu, the White House has announced, President Obama on Saturday declared the disease “a national emergency.” It’s the second such declaration, with the first in late April. And in case you didn’t know what “proactive” meant before, now you do: “hysterical.”

Just nine weeks ago the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology issued its report with a “plausible scenario” of 30,000 to 90,000 deaths peaking in “mid-October.” It’s now late October and past time for a reality check.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) no longer releases specific swine flu case or death numbers, so the agency merely said Friday it had killed more than 1,000 Americans and hospitalized over 20,000 in the almost 7 months since the outbreak began. The website flucount.org, basing its figures on media reports, lists about 1,100. The FluTracker website counts a much higher 2,800.

This is no ordinary flu, its Hogzilla! After all, if youre going to save the populace from a monster you want it to be as big as possible.

This is no ordinary flu, it's Hogzilla! After all, if you're going to save the populace from a monster you want it to be as big as possible.

But even that largest figure is about the number of Americans the CDC estimates seasonal flu kills every 10 days during the season, specifically 36,000 deaths and 200,000 hospitalizations annually.

Yes, swine flu disproportionately afflicts the young. But it’s simply a larger slice of much smaller pie. Hence among 55,000 college students afflicted seriously enough with CDC-defined “flu-like illness” to seek medical help, according to an American College Health Association running survey, there have been only78 hospitalizations and zero deaths.

Nor is there reason to think things will worsen.

AP ENTERPRISE: Schools gear up for swine flu shots

WASHINGTON – Hundreds of schools are heeding the government’s call to set up flu-shot clinics this fall, preparing for what could be the most widespread school vaccinations since the days of polio.

An Associated Press review of swine flu planning suggests there are nearly 3 million students in districts where officials want to offer the vaccine once federal health officials begin shipping it in mid-October.

Many more may get involved: The National Schools Boards Association told the AP three-quarters of the districts in a recent survey agreed to allow vaccinations in school buildings.

In South Carolina, “there will be a massive attempt to use schools as vaccination centers,” said state Superintendent Jim Rex. He plans at least one vaccination clinic in each of the state’s 85 school districts.

South Dakota started offering free children’s vaccination against regular winter flu in 2007, and this year it plans to offer both kinds in many schools, said state Health Secretary Doneen Hollingsworth.

Now come the difficult details: figuring out all the logistics in giving squirmy youngsters a shot in the arm or a squirt in the nose.

France ready to close all schools to combat swine flu

August 14th, 2009 Catherine No comments

Wednesday 12 August 2009

France’s ministry of education is considering closing all schools in the event of a major swine flu outbreak in September. Authorities are also currently working on distance-learning material to help students who may be forced to stay at home.

AFP - France’s minister of education is ready to close all of the country’s schools in the event of a major swine flu outbreak, a local newspaper reported on Wednesday.

“In case of a complete pandemic we are ready to close all of the schools in France,” Luc Chatel was quoted as saying by Le Figaro, a Paris-based daily

“No threshold has been fixed for the closing of a school. It will be adapted on a case-by-case basis,” said the minister.

Chatel added that the mass vaccination of children was not yet an issue.

French authorities have, over the summer, worked on distance learning materials that can be broadcast on television, radio and the Internet to help students forced to stay home keep up with their classes, he added.

France has recorded around one thousand swine flu infections and one death, but authorities are concerned the resumption of school will fuel a sharp acceleration in the spread of the virus.

Baxter not to provide anti-swine flu vaccine to Czechs

August 11th, 2009 Catherine No comments

Prague – The U.S. pharmaceutical firm Baxter which manufactures a vaccine against the swine flu in its Czech branch will not ensure the vaccine for the Czech Republic in the case of a pandemic, Baxter media representative Jana Cechova told CTK today.

The Czech Republic has relied on the factory in Bohumil, Central Bohemia.

In its original pandemic plan, the Czech Republic reckoned with vaccines for 60 percent of the population, while the updated plan involves vaccines for 25 percent and the Tamiflu and Relenza antivirotics for the same number.

“No contract for the delivery of the vaccines A(H1N1) between Baxter and the Czech Republic has been concluded,” Cechova said.

The server tn.cz writes that the Czech Health Ministry has explained its stopping the talks with Baxter by the firm’s inability to guarantee that the vaccine is safe and who will bear the risks for possible side-effects.

“It is a pity, but, unfortunately, at the moment when we accepted the bids, Baxter was unable to confirm that it will deliver a registered vaccine,” Health Minister Dana Juraskova said.

Over 60 Czechs have caught the swine flu, but no fatality has been registered.

Dr. Horowitz Matches Federal Government Award for Best Swine Flu Video

July 21st, 2009 admin No comments

Sandpoint, ID–Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz is matching a $2500 contest award posted by the U.S. Federal Government to encourage the best use of YouTube for public education regarding vaccinations and more natural protections this swine flu season.

Expecting the Obama administration’s video contest to be biased in favor of vaccines, Dr. Horowitz, a staunch vaccine risk awareness crusader, is matching the government’s award for YouTube uploads in the “Natural Prevention and Non-Propaganda” category.

Dr. Horowitz believes the foisting of “fast-tracked,” poorly-tested, experimental vaccines on the public reflects genocidal profiteering by political special interests, not proven public health provisions. The Harvard-trained doctor encourages natural alternatives to toxic, often deadly, vaccinations such as silver hydrosol, better hygiene, pH adjusted hydration, and immunity-building through good nutrition.

“It is one thing to tell Americans, ‘Get prepared for the coming flu season,’ and another to violate common sense and the public’s trust,” Dr. Horowitz said. “The government’s vaccination recommendations, and explanations of how this swine flu emerged, lack accuracy and general credibility. Their propaganda is insensitive to audiences who are already depressed and phobic. Flu frights prompt serious psychopathologies, pharmaceutical dependencies, and vaccine injuries. They restrict life, liberty, and everyone’s pursuit of happiness. It is gross government official malfeasance to continue neglecting these hard cold scientifically-proven facts.”

Information for YouTube video contestants can be found at FLUscam.com. The $2500 winner of Dr. Horowitz’s challenge can select payment in cash or OxySilver, far more valuable in saving lives and preventing vaccine injuries.
